Using just these three ingredients you can make our delicious roast potatoes

wash potatoes

Use a floury potatoe for this dish, like Agria or Ilam Hardy.
Give your spuds a wash to get any dirt off them

Peel potatoes

Peel your potatoes and remove any blemishes

drain potatoes

Once you’re ready to cook, drain your spuds and give them a good shake to remove any excess water

Add your EVOO to a roasting dish, a healthy drizzle as you want to make sure all the spuds get a coating

After 30 minutes give your spuds a good shake and return to the oven for an additonal 30 minutes

Once they’re peeled give them a quick rinse to ensure there is no dirt left on them

boil potatoes

Add your potatoes to a pot of cold water and bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes - at this time preheat your oven to 200c on fan bake

Add potatoes and then sprinkle over about 1 teaspoon of saffron salt, and give everything a good shake to make sure the potatoes are well coated

roast potatoes

Take out of the oven, serve and enjoy!

chop potatoes

Chop the spuds into quarters, if they are larger potatoes maybe eighths, enough for two bites!

half time potatoes

Pop your potatoes in the oven for 30 minutes

soak potatoes

Add your potoes to a bowl of cold water and soak them for 2-24 hours - this removes starch to make them extra crunchy

After ten minutes, drain into a colander and give them a quick shake, this roughs up the edges to increase the crunch factor
